The classic dive, without the waiting.
Seven prompts, 25 seconds each, the less common your answer the further you go. A new dive is one refresh away.
The classic dive
Seven prompts. One answer each.
- 25 seconds per prompt — the clock decides whether you answer, nothing more.
- Unrecognised answers cost nothing; only a timeout or a pass is a miss.
- Rarer accepted answers sink you deeper. 700 points touches the trench wall.

What Krillion Unlimited is
Krillion Unlimited takes the daily rare-answer game and stops rationing it. In the original daily dive everyone gets the same seven prompts once a day, and when it's done, it's done. Here, a refresh deals seven completely new prompts from our own bank of fifty hand-written questions, as often as you like. It is the whole dive loop — prompt, clock, commit, depth — with the waiting removed.
How a round works
A prompt appears — wide-open categories like "name a food that is naturally blue" or "name a sport played on ice that is not ice hockey" — and a 25-second clock starts. You type exactly one answer and press dive. If the answer is on our list, it lands in one of six rarity tiers, and every point sinks you ten metres. If it isn't on the list, nothing happens except time passing: the notice tells you it wasn't recognised, the clock keeps counting, and you can try again or pass.
The tier, not the clock, is the whole score. Answering in three seconds instead of twenty earns nothing extra, so treat the first fifteen seconds as thinking time and the last ten as commit time.
How scoring is different from the daily dive
Mechanically it's the same shape: six tiers, points times ten metres, 700 points to the trench floor. What differs is the source of truth. The official game grades your answer against what real players actually typed today; we grade against our own editorially-curated answer keys, with tier values that are our own estimates. That's why every page here says the values aren't official — you're practising the decision, not chasing a leaderboard.
Why practise on Unlimited
The core skill in Krillion is a habit, not a memory: say the obvious answer to yourself, bin it, bin the second one too, then change the angle of the category and commit to the rarest answer you're sure of. That loop takes reps. Unlimited gives you unlimited reps without waiting for tomorrow's board — and when you're warmed up, the official daily dive is waiting at krillion.io.
FAQ
Krillion Unlimited questions
What is Krillion Unlimited?
Krillion Unlimited is a free practice version of the rare-answer trivia format with no daily cap. Each dive deals seven open prompts with 25 seconds each, and the uncommon answer sinks you deeper than the obvious one. It runs entirely in your browser.
How is it different from the official daily Krillion?
The official daily game at krillion.io deals seven fresh prompts once a day to everyone, and grades you against what real players typed. Krillion Unlimited removes the waiting — a new dive starts whenever you refresh, drawn from our own prompt bank, scored against our own answer keys. One is the daily ritual; the other is the practice gym.
Is Krillion Unlimited really free?
Yes. There is no signup, no app and no daily cap. Your best depth and the prompts you've seen recently are stored only in this browser; refreshing starts a fresh visit.
Where do prompts and answers come from?
Every prompt ships with an editorially curated answer key — common spellings, plurals and synonyms folded in. Tiers estimate how rare each answer would be among players; scoring runs instantly in your browser, so there's nothing to wait for after you press Dive.
What happens if my answer isn't on the list?
Nothing is deducted. A short notice tells you the answer wasn't recognised, the clock keeps counting, and you can type another answer or pass. The only ways to score zero on a prompt are letting the 25 seconds run out or pressing Pass.
Is this the official Krillion game?
No. This is an independent, unofficial Krillion-style practice game. The prompts, artwork and answer keys here are our own, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the original game or its makers. The official daily dive lives at krillion.io.
